Thai Massage and Bodywork

"Few traditional healing techniques are as spectacularly effective as Thai Massage.  And nowhere more so than in Northern Thailand" - Conde Nast Traveler, June 2012

Wendy offers a multitude of individual bodywork sessions based on timeless yogic and Asian healing principles that can be specifically tailored to your individual needs and desires.  Her work stimulates and guides the body's natural innate intelligence to heal and restore itself.  The results are time-tested and reliable.

Thai Yoga Massage  Trained by the masters in Northern Thailand,  Wendy will evoke the bliss of several great yoga sessions...spinal fluidity and lengthening, easy, open hips, shoulder release and a sense of perfect well being - all without doing a thing.  The mind stills in complete relaxation.   It can feel like a nurturing, effortless yoga practice and you need not be a yogi/yogini to enjoy it's benefits.  This ancient healing art dates back to the time of Buddha.

Thai Massage (Nuat Phaen Boran), one of the branches of traditional Thai medicine, is both spiritual and physical.  Unlike western massage therapies,  the recipient remains fully clothed during treatment and rests upon a thick padded mat on the floor.  Rather than rubbing on muscles - which generally has no lasting effect - the body is gently stretched and rocked rhythmically in order to restore vital energy  pathways.  Tensions are  relieved  at their core!!!

With regular Thai Massage, one might experience restored and increased inner balance, a deep feeling of relaxation, vitality, and renewal.  It is an ideal therapy for those suffering with head, neck or back pain, physical and emotional stress or plain old mental fatigue.    It is an offering of sublime kindness.

Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Massage), - reserved for 2,000 years exclusively for royalty - is perhaps the most profound massage form in Traditional Chinese medicine.  Since it deserves its own page, learn about it by clicking here!!

Individual bodywork sessions are either 90 minutes or 2 hours.

I love to share this beautiful practice.
